Waiting for my wife to come out from the nearby hairdressers I decided to have a quick cool drink (iced Agua con gaz, as I was driving) some light lunch. I was very quickly served, with an American Sandwich, ham bacon cheese a lovely fried egg on top... Yummy.... Just what I needed right there on my own holiday doorstep 'so to speak '... Eating outside as I did , with those beautiful Lilac coloured trees to look at, made my dash in for quick light lunch even more magnificent than at first I thought it might be..
Have went for a good few evening meals here in the past, good service and food. This time we had 2 evening meals which were very good, plus a lunch which was great value. For the lunch you get a main meal (normal evening meal size) and a choice of desert, plus a glass of wine or a beer or soft drink for 7 Euros. (ours came with a basket of bread and a dish of nuts) It's open Sun Thurs 8am 4pm, Fri and Sat 8am 4pm and then 7pm till midnight. 7euro lunch menu served 12mid day till 3.30pm .
I have organised ladies lunches the first inside as only about 25 ladies. The last one we had outside as in the summer last year and 40 ladies. The next lunch next month should be lovely with the blossom trees out. A lot of Restaurants can not Cope with a lot of people but the service and food was just as good. El Jardine brilliant for Menu Del Dai or tapas !!
Working next to el jardín this is a fantastic place for us getting out lunch. All the food is fresh even the bocadillos are fantastic. Great assortment of tapas and wines. Menu del dia only 7€. Highly recommended. A must visit. Closed on a Wednesday.

We have eaten at El Jardin many times and always enjoyed it. We chose the Restaurant for my Sister In Laws special Birthday eleven of us attended eaten a variety of meals including Spanish and Mediterranean all most enjoyable. Well worth a visit.
Have been here on a few occasions recently and was very pleased each time. The quality food is cooked fresh to order and served in a beautiful bright clean restaurant. A three course meal between 1pm and 3pm is only €7.50. The food is superb.
Every time we are in Catral my family and I have a meal at El Jardin and are never disappointed with the quality of the meals the varied choice of dishes, something for everyone and excellent service of the staff. Well worth a visit.
This is a great place just for a drink or to enjoy good authentic Spanish food. The menu del dia is only 7 euros; the staff are very attentive; and the place is immaculately clean.

Food good value for its price. Staff friendly. Great for lunch. Nice to be able to sit outside in a pleasant environment. Can recommend the Calamares just lovely.
So clean you could eat your food off the floor! Nothing is too much, so accommodating. Food is very good and reasonable
