We went to El Jefe Traveling Food on a Friday at noon. Although it was busy, we were promptly seated at a charming terrace table (our original reservation was full, but they quickly found us another spot). The server was wonderful—friendly, efficient, quick, and attentive. She recommended several dishes, all of which were delicious, and you can order half portions. The empanadas and peppers stood out as especially tasty, while the tripe and mushroom croquettes were rich in flavor. The cheesecake was exceptional.
