Good food and great environment Its a nice little restaurant for a quiet night out. We have been here a few times and everything we tried has been good so far. Staff are nice, friendly and professional. Nice simple decor which goes well with the Lebanese cousin. Parking may be a bit of an issue since its always busy around there but if you willing to walk a bit, you should find a spot further up or down along the pacific highway.
Ideal place to go with friends to share food yes, can be done in Covid safe way. Food is superb honey zaatar calamari, hommos bawarma, tabouli, chicken shawarma .... all dishes were excellent. Staff very helpful pleasant. Only drawback is that it's quite noisy when there is a large group there. If you like to support local/small businesses and/or love good food then go to El Karim and everyone will be a winner.
Most of the dishes on the menu are gluten-free, and everything we ate was tasty (such as the grilled halloumi and aubergine, as well as the buzz and cardamom rice.) I made sure to order items that were either fried or grilled on a pan to steer clear of anything that might have been deep-fried in order to avoid cross contamination.
The restaurant's menu mostly consists of gluten-free options, and all the dishes we tried were delicious. We especially enjoyed the grilled halloumi and eggplant, beans, and cardamom rice. To be safe, I only ordered items that were pan-fried or grilled to avoid any possible cross contamination from deep-fried foods. Book a table now
First went to this place about 40 years ago. Food is excellent. Staff are lovely and very attentive. The only slight drawback is that you have to go out into the rain to get to the bathrooms which are functional ... but definitely not spotless.
Excellent as always. Gets crowded when something is on next door, and super loud in some areas, but the staff are lovely and it's all pretty reasonably priced.
Very satisfied with food and hospitality! We enjoyed every menu and the lamb meat ball (I don’t remember the name) tasted sensational!!!
