I read the reviews and I'm totally shocked. I came here about a month ago and the owner told me that she started the same time I came. I thought I found my nirvana because I enjoy not putting gluten in most of their foods. I have difficulty eating my Spanish food because the Caribbean noodles/gluten in their food use especially soups. There is one so when I find out that Colombians usually do not gluten into what they cook, I am very happy. Other than what one of the gentlemen said (more potato hardly any beef in empanadas) I don't have to deny that this happens... unless they pull my leg, there's a new owner for a month and they're very respectful... Until now.
This place serves good food! I ordered Sancocho and it was authentic delicious and comes with a side of rice and a small salad. They offer freshly prepared breakfast lunch and dinner authentic breads and sweets every day. O and they also make fresh ground coffee that tastes amazing!
Really good empanada and arepa con huevos y chorizo. I came at 9:15 and it was super fresh!
Comfort Colombian cuisine. Sit and relax. Come hungry, big portions.
