We live on the East Coast, so we only visit this area once a year, and this is one of our must stop places. We are always on the hunt for good Mexican, and this is one of our goods. They have a wide variety of burritos and many other options to satisfy any taste. I tend to jump around on the menu, allowing myself to try different things. I've tried several of the burritos, and they were all delicious. All stuffed with tons of meat, rice, beans, etc., and covered with sauces ranging from the green verde sauce which is really good with some kick, cheese sauce, red sauce, and mole sauce. This time, I opted for the El Toriado, which is rice covered with chicken, steak, shrimp, bacon, and cheese...
Bring an appetite! The food is flavorful and plenty. I’ve eaten in a lot of authentic Mexican restos throughout the southwest and I can tell you that this place delivers. The nachos topped with beef is outstanding! The service is great. The food was delivered piping hot and quickly. We will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.
Stop quoting 15 minutes for pickup orders when it takes 3 minutes to make and then it sits there and gets cold because I told it would be 15 minutes for my pickup order.
Dang! I have been here and gotten to go food here so many times before! Not sure if there is new owners or something but ordered 60$ worth of to go food for Book a table now
Always pleased and amazed at El Maguey The staff are perfectly natural and pleasant with no need to prompt constantly.
This restaurant maybe packed on a Friday to the max but it is hella good. Really really really great margaritas!
Of course the food costs more and takes twice as long now that you got a fancy expensive computer system
