Now this is what you come to Spain for! Absolutely delicious tapas. My wife and I were looking for a bite to eat and wondered past this place and were drawn in by the delicious smells. You could easily miss it sat opposite the bakery...on the main plaza. We just wanted a variety of tapas and wow they delivered. Lots of variety, fresh and flavoursome. Shame we only found this out the day before we were leaving but we will definitely return one day. We had our daughter with us and they accommodated her well enough. The waiting staff were fantastic and spoke very good English...which gave our broken Spanish a break for an evening. We sat and ate out the little terrace at the back. Not the world...
great little place to eat or just drink. it is located directly opposite the bakery in the plaza. fabulous tapas, which all couple days only change everyone. fried quails are on jam, borons and speck, pork in pfeffersoße, meatballs and...pork-skewers. beautiful. their appetizers include deep roasted camembert with a blueberry sauce (addictive) and garnel in filo with a honey sauce (gorgeous). one of my favorites are the Tostadas stuff on toast. chorizo and ei, salmon or cured meat. all beautiful and a filling, but cheap lunch. the bar is tiny, but everyone is very friendly, and in the summer they have a place in the plaza. beautifully made a large mix of traditional and modern.
we called in for tapas and sat on the small terrace and really enjoyed our time there. The tapas was excellent and the wine very good too. the value was exceptional we shared tapas and had glasses of wine each for a total...of euros we had eaten tapas in torrox costa and paid more for not as good quality. The toilet facilities were very good too and very clean not always the case in some other places.
Family run restaurant that serves fresh tapas. Get ready for a first, second, third and fourth round. We had a lot of tapas, but these were simple and just very good. The best experience we had in Torrox. Try their bottle of red house wine...for euro's. It's fantastic.

simple, uncomplicated eating with a reasonable selection of dressed. well served also presented and coveted by the locals together with the visitors, otherwise we did not leave twice.
Excellent food, great service, well worth going off the beaten track for. The view from the back terrace is somewhat strange' but the food more than makes up for this tiny aspect.
in super quirky small food with an intimate and interesting terrace out on the square, cozy atmosphere, good eating, good service a great place to watch the world slowly.
a few months ago closed. very missing. used to serve big tapas and raciones. very regrettable, as it was one of the few real Spanish bars in torrox pueblo.

Excellent tapas . Offers a restaurant on the plaza. Also a very quaint little bar with a lovely balcony . Staff are very helpful and efficient .
