I dined at this restaurant for the first time and was thoroughly impressed with both the quality and portion sizes. My fiancé, who is quite discerning when it comes to Mexican cuisine, also gave it his approval. The veggie nachos were fantastic, and we both chose combo meals. I savored my enchiladas, and even took my chimichanga home for later. He ordered both enchiladas and a steak burrito. The food was genuinely authentic, and the service was exceptional.
I ordered the enchiladas platter, which was supposed to come with tacos and tamales, but I only received the enchiladas. I also ordered the carnitas with salsas, which I expected to be pulled pork, but they somehow replaced it with chicken instead! I'm really disappointed. I won't be ordering from this place again; I feel completely scammed! Very frustrating!
The takeout experience at El Mexicano was fantastic. Our order was prepared quickly, and the service was excellent and friendly. We look forward to returning to explore more of the menu!
