Bangin! Everything was incredibly flavorful and tasted like it was made with love. If you want proper Latin food on the island this is the spot. Right when we walked in the owner/staff were very friendly and helpful. She gave us samples of everything we wanted to try to help us decide what we would like to order. The pork/rib combo was my favorite, the chicken was delicious as well. Our plates were massive combos of yellow rice beans, pork/rib and chicken with sweet plantains. I can't say enough on how much I appreciate the food here. The food is authentic with a variety of well stewed meats ribs, chicken, pork, steak). The yellow rice and black beans are out of this world. I loved the sweet plantains. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates a genuine experience and doesn’t need a high end dining experience. We had the Red Sangria and Margarita. Both of which were solid drinks. Hi folks, my wife had the 'Pedro Martinez ' Mofongo (chicharron) and she said that this was one of the best mofongos she has had in a while. (Hector, the chef/co-owner, was nice enough to reveal his secrets to a fresh and tasty mofongo). I had the pernil with a salad. The meat was juicy and flavorful. The skin was on-point crispy. I absolutely adore this restaurant, it's a delicious treat! The prices are very reasonable and the food is simply amazing. The owner truly makes you feel at home and provides the best service. I highly recommend dining in for lunch here. The atmosphere is lovely, with a rating of 5. Some recommended dishes include the Yellow Rice, El Mofongo, and Baked Chicken. There is plenty of parking available in the free parking lot.
