The food was fantastic, but the service was lacking. Our waiter seemed frustrated with our table, slamming our drinks down when he brought them. He also got one of our orders wrong and appeared irritated about it. He took his time with our drinks and refills, seeming to ignore us while attending to the tables nearby. If it weren't for the waiter and the mishap with the order, I would have rated them five stars. Unfortunately, his attitude really detracted from the experience. I've never been treated like that before. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day or just didn’t like our group, but the food was great and usually, the atmosphere is enjoyable.
El Nopal in Mt. Washington consistently serves up excellent Mexican food—just what you crave. It's not upscale, which is precisely what makes it appealing. The location is convenient, with plenty of parking available. Additionally, it's a very family-friendly restaurant.
The food is consistently good, but the service can be inconsistent. Our waitress was attentive at first, but she seemed to vanish as the evening went on. It felt like she was more focused on closing and cleaning up than on taking care of the guests.
The restaurant is safe and clean, adhering to indoor dining guidelines. The margaritas are robust, and the queso is absolutely divine. I also enjoyed the steak taco salad, which was delicious. I’d give it 5 stars!

I visited for lunch around noon on a Friday and was impressed by the extremely quick service. The staff was very friendly, and the food was excellent! I highly recommend this place.
Love going to this location. Courteous servers, large portions, low prices and overall a great experience. Save room for the fried ice cream for dessert.
Service was ok and my fajita quesadilla look like they had poured water in it and only used onions to make it.
I had an amazing meal! My daughter, grandkids, and I went out to eat, and the food was absolutely delicious.
