We may have suffered by being visitors to this restaurant because our meal was disappointing. When the locals came, after 9 p.m. they appeared to get dishes delivered to their tables which looked most inviting. The ones we got, which we picked from the menu, were bland and uninviting. This may have been our fault in not being part of the in-crowd. This was a pity because, the young waitress was very friendly and attended to us with courtesy. If we went back again we would ask about what the natives eat and have a much better experience.
Great place belonging to an increasingly rare species, i.e. the bar, a place serving a variety of drinks and nothing else (no breakfasts here or fancy tapas). A refreshing concept these days and quite a popular one apparently because the place is usually packed.
