El Pescador Restaurant is a popular dining spot with several locations in L.A. and other areas, known for their delicious seafood and especially their Margarita drinks. The food at this restaurant is overpriced for the quality you receive. Charging $4 for a can of soda that costs 50 cents is unbelievable. The food here has zero taste. I have been to El Pascador at many locations, but this one is disappointing. Overall, the dinner meal was priced at $20-30 per person. The food was rated a 1, service a 5, and atmosphere a 2.
I left the restaurant after no one greeted me when I arrived, waited to be seated, and was ignored by the staff. The hostess was casually chatting with a male coworker, possibly a busboy, instead of attending to customers. It seemed like their conversation was more important than serving customers like me.
The oysters at this restaurant are prepared very deliciously and the service is excellent. I dined in for lunch and the price per person was between $20-30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Pescado Frito Grande.
