This is still the best Mexican restaurant in Diamond Bar. My family has tried nearly everything on the menu, and we have our favorite dishes. We're huge fans of their ceviche pescado and al pastor tacos. Plus, we always order the Jamaica drink. The service is consistently excellent, and while you might have to wait a bit for your food, it's important to remember that everything is made fresh, and it's definitely worth the wait. The restaurant's decor is themed around the sea, and there's plenty of seating available.
The molcajete was disappointing. They used the same salsa for the chips and just added it on top of everything else. The meat was really dry with no flavor at all. I won't be returning. It’s not worth the price. I recommend going to Fonda Don Chon instead—better food, better service, and more affordable. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention—they don’t have restrooms. This is a fantastic spot just a short walk from my house. The tacos were bursting with flavor! It's a cozy little hole-in-the-wall, and those places often turn out to be the best! Flor took my order, and it didn't take long for my food to arrive. I can't wait to come back and try something different!
I just tried the gobernador tacos, shrimp empanadas, and aguachile, and everything was fantastic! This is a wonderful Mexican seafood restaurant in Diamond Bar, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of seafood!
