This is the better one out of the other local ones. But I had never gone to El Pollo Loco locally without bad service. So they serve chicken with no tortillas. Tortilla soup without lemon, even though it's supposed to be Mexican food. And they refuse togive 1 tortilla. At least I didn't have shredded foil in my food like the other place or frozen broccoli like the other one. Thepeople were actually communicating here versus the other one where they walk away and never come back. But still it's always anissue. It's like El Pollo Loco wants to claim Mex food but occasionally doesn't have salsa or tortillas. Common sense.
I had the worst experience ever at this restaurant. They were supposed to close at 10 p.m., but when we arrived at 8 p.m., they had run out of chicken and rushed us out, saying they would close at 9 p.m. The only option available was breakfast burrito tostadas. To make matters worse, someone called in to place an order through their app, and when they showed up, they had chicken for them. It’s frustrating! The place was dirty, and I could go on about how disappointing the experience was, but it just leaves me feeling angry and let down. I do not recommend going here.
I usually enjoy the food at this chain, but this location doesn't measure up to the others. The chicken has been really dry on my last two visits, which suggests it's either overcooked or left out too long. Additionally, when I ordered rice and beans, I received mostly bean juice with just two beans in the container.
Great flavor like all locations. This one has an horchata machine!! Not all locations have it. Restrooms available. No drive thru here. Plenty of seating spots and parking is in a plaza style. Right off of the 110 fwy and up Fair Oaks. Clean for the most part. They play salsa music too ??

Convenient location in Pasadena. Small but has a lot of large windows which makes the place more open and not feel so enclosed. There's a parking lot so there's convenient parking which can be a challenge at some Restaurants out here. Recommend this location over Colorado Blvd location.
