Splendid place for dinner in Laguardia in this quite possibly family owned restaurant. Great location, too, on the far side of “town”, outside, with a lot of animation from wandering locals and playing children animation and a beautiful view of the countryside. We had met the owner earlier in the day who invited us back in the evening with recommendations on what we could order to share. He was spot on. The carrilleras were wonderful and VERY generously portioned. Honestly, I would have preferred a little less meat and something like rice or potatoes to accompany it. Before the meat, we also had — from a spontaneous, impulsive selection — the pochas, a large bowl of delicious beans simmered...

We stumbled into this restaurant almost by accident and a lovely cool upper room welcomed us. Our first course was a simple plater of tomatoes and soft cheese with a full bottle of rose wine! Next course a plate of Gammon and chips, just the right size for our aged appetites. My partner had Cod and chips, both nicely cooked and delicious. We had a sweet course. i had an ice cream and my brother a slice of apple pie. Both simple but beautifully presented and delicious. At a total of €33 includinga cup of coffee each what good value for money!

For 12€ or so, you can get a meal of bread, wine, water, appetizer, main dish and dessert. It was super filling. I had the pasta, fish, and apple dessert. The desserts were small. Good wine served from a local winery. Great outside seating with wonderful views of the countryside and the small tower in Laguardia.

On a corner adjacent to a small plaza, with an outside terrace. One of many similar establishments in Laquardia. Pleasant clean and tidy bar/restaurant, serving inexpensive tapas and drinks. Worth a visit.
