I gave it this title because there was a display which had ever changing numbers on it and when I asked the server she explained it was the decibel display for the music. The level of music was comfortable but she said it gets loud on Saturdays. She also clearly explained the concept of the restaurant which is sharing plates.And following her advice we ordered the correct amount of food ranging from squid to smoked tuna sashimi. I thought the wine list was a bit pricey for this kind of restaurant . The dessert gourmand was very good. Good friendly service meant a good night out. 113€ for three people.
We were looking for a place where have a dinner, but not in a standard restaurant . El primo it 's a mixture of wine bar, bar, club and restaurant, where tasting elegant finger food, excellent ham and cheese, and a very good wine and cocktails. The music is good, and the light is soft. We have eaten in front of the bar, the bar man is very very professional and familiar! We will return
We read some positive reviews and booked El Primo . Got a call in the afternoon to be told there was only a chair at the bar or seats at the roadside out side. Agreed to sit out side. When we approached the restaurant we realised that it was a few bar stools round high tables next to a busy road ! Walked away .....
the place is very well decorated and the warm atmosphere. It is one of the addresses I recommend to party especially that there is often a discotheque atmosphere. we love or we don’t like. I love it. The tapas plates are excellent and especially the cutters. for wine, we can find better elsewhere and cheaper.

found this little gem tucked away in a side street in Aix en Provence, France. Food was excellent with a good choice of tapas and an excellent selection of wines and champagne.Staff were friendly and the service prompt and it offered good value for money. Well worth a visit if your in Aix-en-Provence
Une excellente adresse ou manger des tapas délicieuses , une carte de vins d'un autre monde. Accueil , ambiance fréquentation et qualité des produits tout est sincèrement très bien, je recommande ce lieu. Pensez bien à réserver l'établissement n'est pas très grand si vous êtes en petit groupe.
Lots of restaurant options in Aix du Provence, but this one will not disappoint. I stopped for a glass of wine and snack. Very good wine choices by the glass. Quality wine paired with tapas and cheese, makes El Primo a worthy stop.
