I genuinely wish there were more Mexican restaurants like El Ranchito And Grill. They emphasize adding vegetables to their dishes, and their complimentary chips and salsa are exceptional— a noticeable difference from Tequila Grill in the Big Lots Plaza near Barboursville. Eating at Tequila Grill feels like an average experience, similar to visiting a dentist. In contrast, this restaurant consistently delivers great food. The staff is always polite and attentive. I've never had a bad experience here, and we visit several times a month for work.
The elote, crispy tripe taco, and rice with cheese dip were all tasty, although the taco could have used more meat. I would definitely order it again. My husband enjoyed his double bacon cheeseburger as well. However, the beans, cheese dip, birria taco, and chimichanga were all underseasoned and lacked flavor, especially salt. The birria taco also had very little meat. Considering the prices, it didn’t feel like a good value, which was disappointing. I hope this was just an off night, but it does make me hesitant to order again.
The best margaritas in Huntington! The servers are wonderful, and the bartenders are very generous. The food is excellent during the day, and in the evening, it transforms into a vibrant party bar. There's a spacious bar area with large flat-screen TVs all around and a dance floor in the back featuring mirrors and lights. They also have fantastic drink specials!
We ordered the chicken soup, veggie tamales, and mushroom quesadilla, and everything was amazing. This place offers some of the most authentic flavors I've experienced! I'm already planning my next visit. The service was also excellent and quick. When I arrived, there was a brief line at the counter, but a gentleman came over immediately to assist me. A+!

This is undoubtedly my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is amazing, particularly the shrimp dishes! The shrimp chimichanga and shrimp fiesta taco salad are the best around, overflowing with large, generous shrimp, pico de gallo, and guacamole. They also offer a fantastic variety of vegetarian combinations.
My husband devoured the Burrito Fajita before I even had a chance to snap a photo! He absolutely loved it. The Special Texas was perfect as well. We will definitely be returning!
The chicken was unappetizing, and the rice was overcooked. They provided only half a bag of chips for two orders of queso and one salsa, which is absurd.
I was quite disappointed with the taco salad—it was the worst I've ever tasted and overly mushy. However, the fajitas were fantastic!
