Well what a great experience I and my family have had today at el refugio de villaflor. Returning from Teide, and found this hidden gem. Greeted and well looked after by the chef and lovely waitress through out, amazing atmosphere, uniaue interior with a beautiful view. Food was one of the best, and honestly nearly fell out of my chair when we were told the price! Will be returning tomorrow, muchas gracias! Alex
I walked from Arona around the Roque Imogue, which is about a 3 and a half our walk. I walked clockwise, which means I was at el Refugio after 2 and a half out. Time for coffee. I only had a cappuccino but it tasted great after a long walk.
Wonderful lunch in a lovely little spot. The food was really tasty and the service attentive but not intrusive. I would highly recommend trying the Canarian BBQ.
A delightful spot to stop for a drink, or more, whilst walking. Lovely terrace with great views and extensive menu. Great service.
