El Saloon - Table reservation

Thank goodness for Happy Cow! Looking for somewhere with decent vegan options that weren't chips and salad and boy did this place deliver. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the ambience is laid back chill, wasn't hugely busy and although the service took a bit longer than your average greasy spoon, it was totally worth it. The food is amazing, i had the vegan beef tortillas, onion rings, fried mushrooms and potatas bravas, everything cooked fresh and so tasty, we polished off the lot. I wish I could leave 5 stars to this lovely restaurant, but apparently its not aloud since its not a fully vegan restaurant. Actually most of the options are vegan by default. The owners are vegetarian and they really care about adapt their vegetarian options to vegan. You definitely have to give it a try to it chili con carne' and they vegan beef.

Absolutely lovely vegan tapas selection, even most of the vegetarian options can be made vegan on request, very friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The wrinkly potatoes with mojo sauce and the lentil stew were both highlights.

Charmingly decorated, wonderful host, delicious food, cheap. Unbelievable.
