Great place. I'd seen it for years but never tried it. Once I tried it... Oh man. Went back a week later. The salsa and bean dip they give you is sooooo tasty. The tortilla chips are extra good. They make homemade tortillas that are divine. Both theirSpanish rice and cilantro rice are delicious. Their entree portions are enormous. No bland food here well seasoned and sotasty. I had a shrimp dishes my first time (fresh and spicy) and a 2 item combo the second time. The kids meal portions aregreat, too. If you haven't been here, try it! I'm a foodie and know good food ????
Super delicious and really fun restaurant atmosphere. They have a large cantina (bar) area with some large t.v. screens too. They provide complimentary large baskets of freshly made tortilla chips, salsa, and bean dip. Yummy! It's hard not to fill up onchips and dips before your hearty, big-portioned meals. Very decent sized meals. Be prepared to have leftovers. Everything wasdelicious and fresh. They have a kids menu too and large cocktail menu. The decor lends to a fun experience too. Feels like anintimate Mexican town when dining..
Delicious! Some of if not the best Mexican food I've ever had! The El Tap Rita margarita is so fresh and delicious! We ordered the table guacamole as well, and it was great. I had the steak fajitas and let me tell you. That steak was the most tender andjuicy fajita meat I've ever had. Unbelievable. And to top it off, fresh made flour tortillas. I'm from out of town but can'twait to come back to the Roseville area to come here! Great stuff, keep it up! Can't recommend this place enough.
Overall, the food was great, but I was disappointed with the chips and salsa, which cost $10. We received only about 20 chips along with a 16-ounce container of salsa. While the salsa was a decent portion, the number of chips was insufficient for the price, which didn’t seem reasonable. Additionally, it would have been better if the beans and rice were served in separate containers.

The Fajita Monterrey was delicious, as usual. The Taquitos were really good, despite being a little soft (delivery it's going to happen). Let's talk about the taco. There was no need for what you sent. It in NO way was a taco. I got 3 shrimp and way too much beans. Not necessary. You could have called and explained the mistake on the menu. Would have been a 5 star.
Amazing atmosphere, even better food! Great value all around. One warning the portions are massive, especially after filling up on chips and the guacamole that they make right in front of you! One dish is probably sufficient for two people. I had theCarne asada, my wife had molocajete, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Also the freshly made tortillas were amazing.
This is my new fave mexican restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. The quantity is a third higher than other mexican restaurants. The enchiladas and sauce are delicious and the best spanish rice I have ever had. Free chips and salsa upon request. Fan for life!
Beautiful restaurant with Mariachi music on Sunday's. They have the best home made flour tortillas and tasty drinks from the bar. The food was delicious. We had Chipotle camarones and chicken mole. Everything was on point. We will definitely go back.

I ordered the Authentic Pork Carnitas, and it was delicious! The meat was tender and packed with flavor. I also tried the Queso Dip, which was excellent. The Chicken Taquitos were equally tender and flavorful. I will definitely be returning!
The carne asada is undoubtedly the best steak in Sacramento. The salsa is delicious and definitely worth the $10; I just wish the portion for the chips was larger. The guacamole is fresh and absolutely fantastic. It never disappoints!
