El Taquito - Table reservation

this was the most pleasant surprise I could ever expect to find an authentic Mexican restaurant in France. I am a fan of North American Mexican restaurants, but they are never really authentic. I also love tex mex, but they stand alone as another style. a really honest Mexican restaurant, in the middle france. what a tasty bite. the waitress brought us some sharp ground while we waited. they were spiced, right, I wish we could get them. I wish I knew what they were and I would make them myself. we had the taquito fajitas (poulet, Bœuf, travers de porc, chorizo maison, oignons, poivrons). the aromen are amazing. my family and I are from the usa, so we are familiar with authentic Mexican food. when we came to le mans, we were very surprised to find an authentic Mexican restaurant, as we had seen nothing in France. we ordered taquitos and 2 sampler specificities. that was honestly the best Mexican food we've ever had! seriously everything from chili to taquitos and even the salsa was incredibly delicious! we have learned to chat with the owner and that they were originally from mexiko (the authentic taste) and their man is the cook. The problem with a lot of French restaurants and brasseries is that they all serve essentially the same menu. I was looking for an alternative to salmon, veal or beef (in sauce) or duck (that isn't a pizza)! Tripadvisor came to the rescue along wirh...all the helpful reviews of this restaurant. What a little gem! I had a really enjoyable meal here in a very colourful setting. The hostess spoke some Englsh, which was helpful, although the menu is largely translated too. The food was tasty, service good and prices reasonable. Highly recommended and if I come to Le Mans again it will be on my list to visit.

the service was fast and efficient. the choice of Mexican food is exaggerated! everything is freshly prepared with authentic salads and seasonings. the interieur is bright and welcoming. the brote are fresh and tasty! more wonderful place for a good lunch, highly recommended.
