Si Salento se encuentra en mucho encanto se debe a las cafeterías y todos los restaurantes particulares que aportan a su decoración y cuidado de escaparate principalmente. La prueba de este arte del café, como se hace llamar, el Tejadito del Salento, se encuentra ubicado en el (la principal avenida que sube al mirador) en una venta de calle. Entre las mesas de madera y botellas de reciclado berlina candelabro de Baileys, este bar-tienda vende tanto un buen café creaciones artesanales locales. Sería una pena no poder parar allí, recomendado para conocerlo .
