I've passed Retaurante Triton for several years and to be honest it doesn't have a lot of curb appeal. But tonight, when many places in the area were closed we decided to give it a try. Upon entering we ran into any number of people...we know from around the village: old friends, local realtors, or children's sailing instructor and his family.... It feels like a real neighborhood place, on the outskirts of Toroella, not far from the sea, the Ter and the beautiful rice fields. Si pasas por Torroella de Montgrí a la hora de comer, este restaurante es una opción más que recomendable. Nos habían hablado muy bien del menú que ofrecen los días laborables, y la verdad es que no nos decepcionó. Por un precio razonable, puedes elegir entre cinco o seis platos de primero y la misma variedad de segundos, lo que ofrece opciones para todos los gustos. Nosotros optamos por una ensalada de cogollos con salmón y una escudella bien hecha, casera y reconfortante. El menú también incluye la bebida y los cafés, y los postres mantienen el buen nivel. Restaurant Triton doesn't look anything special from outside, in fact it is located in a very random location!! BUT give it a go! You will not be disappointed! Fantastic fish! Great value Menu of the day (not during the month of August) and impeccable service!...Lots of local clientele!!

we visited a lunch menu here. the restaurant is very intelligent and clean and the staff was very friendly. the menu del dia is 15 euro for 3, courses, brot, wein and water. there was a good choice and it was served quickly....Typical Spanish cuisine.
Triton the only Catalan food we could recommend, luckily we went into a bar in L'Escala opposite Villa Services one of the customers was carrying a bucket of Catalan soup. They suggested El Triton and they were right
Emotional grilled fish. Without any additional spices, garlic or onion it tastes just perfect. Very adequate day menu. Add fat and friendly service and you got a very good eating place, well worth a visit.
Triton has been always a very good place for fresh grilled fish and shellfish. Actually offers a daily menu during week days that fulfills my expectations regarding price/quality ratio.

this is the tempo to go when they love fish and seafood. they possess their own ship and whatever comes to the table is really fresh and first advice.
