Not my type of bar to hit regularly, being the somewhat antisocial type. However; I've been forced to pop in and fire down some tinnies and a couple of pints now, and all seemed absolutely fine. You'll not struggle to find a drink to suit your ale requirements. If you're passing by then it's perfectly connected on the 62/63 cattle carriers. Price per person: £20–30 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Elder Beer cafe is my favourite bar in Heaton. Amazing beer, including on tap the likes of Deya and Left Handed Giant and in the fridge a tremendous selection including Beak. The atmosphere is always great and the service fantastic. The quiz on a Tuesday night is also a highlight. Nice little beer garden at the back. Go for a beer stay for the amazing vibes.
