WOW! I can’t express enough how EXCELLENT DELICIOUS the food is in this quaint little steakhouse! I am completely blown away that this family owned and operated restaurant has been hiding from me in Harrison for so long now. Eleazar is the perfect spot for a private getaway dinner that won’t break the bank, that is, unless you can’t help yourself to try all the amazing food on the menu! My Ribeye steak was cooked to absolute perfection; tender and juicy, with the perfect amount of seasoning and a wonderful homemade steak sauce. I haven’t had a steak this delicious in years. Needless to say, I will certainly be back to my new favorite steak house!!
My husband and I order here all the time. We absolutely love it.We usually get the ribeye and it’s delicious!! Talk about consistency, these guys always get it right. We’ve never actually been in the restaurant and we’re in nutley so the fact that it gets to us and it’s still warm is honestly very impressive. I will say we usually ask for our steak medium and it comes medium rare. Their temperature is always a bit lighter than you’d expect. All in all a fantastic meal!
So I ordered through uber eats for my husband’s birthday. He wasn’t in the mood to go out because the weather was horrible. I ordered 2 cowboy steaks, mashed potatoes, penne ala vodka, calamari, mixed vegetables, asparagus, spinach dip, macaroni and cheese and a Caesar salad. The food came hot and everything was delicious. I especially loved the penne ala vodka. He also enjoyed all of the food. I will definitely go here to eat again.
I visited with my friends on a quiet Monday evening and was pleasantly surprised. I had the hanger steak was was huge and while I couldn't finish all, i gave it my best shot. My friend had the rib eye which she thoroughly enjoyed. If I'm ever in Newark again, I'll be sure to visit. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
