I have great memories of my visits to this place. at both locations I made myself welcome and in great mood. let me explain why. first, ambiente. the location in this restaurant is the one of a family-run business (I am not sure if this is the case, but it feels safe as it is). the waiter and waiter are fast in service, while the attention where it is due. they even offer recommendations if necessary (for us it was in relation to the roki). second, eating. We left Elif feeling extremely full, and may take a more considered approach when ordering next time. Apart from the the over the top deserts, the meal was very good, sticking to the idea of simplicity, and worth the £47.20 for two people. I don’t know of any restaurants that do a similar style in Liverpool, there are certainly other greek and turkish establishments, but having the charcoal grill as centre-piece is something novel (please get in touch if I’m wrong). I would recommend a meal here to anyone who asked. Very good
Popped here for Saturday afternoon lunch whilst on break for work. Yet again service and food was impeccable. Had the chickpea and aubergine (think it’s called Iman Bauldi) to start which comes with lots of lovely Turkish bread to mop it up with. I then had a recommendation off the waitress which was Lamb in a type of bread with cheese and came with rice. Portion size was fantastic as was the quality and it also come with a lovely crunchy side salad. £12.95 for 2 course … what’s not to like. Be back soon
rudest manager je das Essen is good and the waiter make thier job in perfect wise. but obviously they can see that the wut of the restorer treats them very badly and rudely. you feel like you want to hit his face when you see how much is not porfessional manager. at the end I couldn't hold my own, and told him you were manager. you're a piece of ****, and I just left the restaurant. I'll never eat at places with rude managers. is it enough to see them daily?

My son took me for my birthday meal, I have been there many times and food has always been lovely. I ordered Lamb shank cant tell you how disappointed I was it was tasteless and very soft no texture to it, in a watery tomato sauce, I felt it had been just boiled. The meal my son ordered from the Charcoal grill was delicious (he gave me a taste) so it wasn’t all bad. And the dog enjoyed what I took home! the bone and the meat I didn’t eat.
used to like it but am now boycotting it after its sister branch in Bold St doesn't allow solo diners. Greed at its finest. Cram as many tables in as possible and don't even allow prams or wheelchairs. This is definitely not Turkish hospitality as they are family oriented people. This is pure greed. Also the male staff stare uncomfortably at females.
We went for the karisik as the main course, the 4 person option it was off the charcoal menu, it was so Good, the service and all the food was very good, it’s lovely set out you can see the meat being cooked, the tahini and bread and liver and onions good too We will definitely be back
I enjoyed one of the best meals ever at Elif. The salmon was delicious and the sauce was superb. The server was friendly and efficient. Everything I tasted was perfect. I highly recommend this lovely Turkish barbecue restaurant and will definitely return.

Absolutely top notch lunch again ! From the starters to the salad and bread and main meal everything was absolutely delicious This is my third review of this place (I don’t normally do 3 for one place!! Definitely the best value lunch in Liverpool
