I visited this restaurant based on a local's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did! It's housed in one of the oldest buildings in Idaho, originally built as an inn for travelers and later transformed into a ranch. Now, it's a popular spot for fly fishing. The site features cozy cabins, a spacious communal building, a large creek for private fishing in the back, and an abundance of wildlife in the area. We had an amazing dinner at a stunning rustic lodge by the beautiful Elk Creek. The service was flawless, and the salmon we ordered was absolutely phenomenal! It will be tough to choose when we return—whether to enjoy the salmon again or try one of their other delicious options, all of which sound tempting! I highly recommend this place!
The food is fantastic. We had the pork tenderloin with apple chutney. Then peach huckleberry cobbler for dessert. Can’t wait for the breakfast tomorrow. Beautiful views of the lake from the lodge. The lodge was built in 1900 the oldest original building in Island Park. Cute rustic cabins spread throughout the property among the trees.
This was an incredible surprise. The food was delicious and served family style by a single individual who handled everything – from cooking to serving to washing the dishes. I highly recommend this place for a special dinner, but be sure to make reservations in advance. Service: 5/5.

The food is fantastic, punches well above its weight for an Island Park establishment. We called ahead and reserved a dinner time and the staff was fantastic. Very friendly! Cabins are rustic but have a nice Island Park charm to them highly recommend!
Had Roasr Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings. Unbelievable meal. I think it is all home made food. Reasonable prices and a great log lodge on the lake with a view. Wonderful evening with my sweetheart. Love this place.
Absolutely wonderful. If you enjoy rustic charm, comfortable accommodations then this is your place. Staff could not be more accommodating. Peaceful and quiet. Our only negative was that we were unable to stay longer.
Absolutely a don 't miss experience: gorgeous scenery, rustic (but comfortable and spacious) turn of the century log cabins, awesome food and a staff to take care of your every need. I 'll miss it.

The Ranch is one of the most magical places to visit. My grandma and he family have ran it for year, and even my mom helped run it one year. This is a place that is home away from home.
Spent the meal swatting flying insects in the dining room. You don't go here for the food.
