Nice food and large portions, friendly staff and service. Quiet atmosphere unlike a chain place. Ten dollars for the biggest club sandwich I've ever tried to eat (half came back to the hotel room), oh and that includes chicken soup * and * Pommes. The children enjoyed the lentil soup and the bonus ice cream. We only visit the area briefly; if you live here, you owe it to check it out.
This is a great family restaurant where we went after a failed attempt to get to the Zoo Lights at Brookfield Zoo. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The food was excellent and the portions were more than enough. Three of the four adults needed a box for remnants. The baked French onion soup is one of the better in the area. We'll be back here soon.
Still has a great selection of food. Had the most delicious Monte Cristo and cream of chicken rice soup in months. My friend had a Julianne salad and their chicken soup. Had to take a container for the salad for later. Same great service and friendly atmosphere.
