We have eaten at Em Chamas twice now and both times I loved it. Nice atmosphere, the salad and hot bar are kept clean. Both times I was particularly impressed with the mashed potatoes. Quality of service, choice of meats, friendliness of staff, and salad bar are just some of reasons that Em Chamas is going to my preferred Churrascaria in KC! Fogo de Chao, KC is not on the same level of courtesy, attentiveness, and efficiency. Don't be fooled by the franchise name! My recommendation for Brazilian BBQ in the KC metro is Em Chamas!
I used to come here and eat 3 times a year… price is reasonable, but for last two times I went, the meats either too spicy or very salty… please don't use too much seasoning… please consider this as constructive criticism… because i love to come back… Vinnie
One of the best happy hours in Kansas City. Outstanding small plates. I love the Brazilian cheese steak sliders, paired with a caipirinha (tasty rum drink), makes for a delicious, inexpensive happy hour. Live music on Thursdays. Always a great experience

Very unique menu and service. I had the salad bar which was extremely fulfilling. Other diners in my party had the full menu. Highly recommended but bring your pocketbook and wallet. You do get what you pay for, believe me. Worth the trip!
Come with an hearty appetite.. The sides and salad bar are are full of variety and flavor. The meats Will not disappoint. The funny thing is my absolute favorite wfavorite was the pineapple. The smoked pineapple was the hit for this visit.
It was unbelievably good. Service was outstanding. The selection was delicious and even the dessert was great. We'll be back and you should go too.
