The service has greatly improved since our last visit many years ago. The food was excellent, and the decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. We also enjoyed the company we were with. Over the past week, we visited Emma's Bagel several times, and we were impressed by the diverse menu and quality of the food. While they were a bit short-staffed on Sundays, overall, you could dine here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for days without running out of options. I highly recommend it!
Emma's is more than just a bagel shop, despite what its name might suggest. The menu features a wide range of options beyond bagels. I had the LOX omelette, which was fantastic! Although the lox seemed a bit overcooked, leaving it slightly dry, it was still incredibly flavorful and delicious. The warm, toasted bagel complemented the cream cheese perfectly, and the hash browns were wonderfully crisp. It's definitely a great spot for breakfast or brunch. Highly recommended! 5/5.
You'll stand at the counter to order from a large menu, pay, then sit at a table. The drinks are largely self-serve, and when we visited, they didn't have a barista for lattes, etc. Staff brings your food as it's ready and it is delish! They are very accommodating too. There was a misunderstanding when ordering one of our parties' food, but Emma's staff exchanged it with kindness and efficiency.
This restaurant is an excellent choice for brunch and lunch, conveniently situated near Old Orchard Mall. I really enjoy the Shakshuka and Lox LuLu! They also offer fresh bagels and a variety of spreads. Update: I’ve discovered some new favorites, including the Greek Salad with lemon dressing, quesadilla, and the incredibly fluffy blueberry pancakes! Book a table now
Today our family had a big family get together. Many of the people there had never had the food from Emma's. I can't tell you how much they raved not only about the bagels, but the tuna, egg salad and especially the kugels. Thank you so much!
The kosher breakfast and lunch options are absolutely delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The service is both quick and professional. There’s a vast selection to choose from. I could enjoy a meal here every morning!
The place could use a little renovation. The coffee isn’t great, but the bagels are decent when they’re fresh. The staff behind the counter are very friendly!
