Great little village hotel nice airy big windowed rooms in a great village location, Good shopping little cheese shop a shot walk which I think makes it own cheese. Able to sit outside with my own beer and locals were friendly and watch life go by. Train station round the corner which I guess is handy for back packers. Thank you for the kettle which so far this trip most hotels don't have handy. Rooms: Just right loved the big windows so a lot of light. Nearby activities: Modern Village feel, friendly and good shopping, train station not to far away.
The hotel as a whole is very homely and well maintained. Our room was modernly renovated and clean, the windows were very well insulated. The bathroom and especially the shower were large and also clean. Fine breakfast buffet with a good selection. Well-kept outdoor area with seating/small beer garden. Lockable bike room. Cet hôtel est situé dans une ancienne bâtisse typique de l'Emmental. Mais les chambres sont modernes et probablement refaites récemment. Je tiens à mentionner le lit king size de haute qualité. Bon petit déjeuner standard mais avec du très bon pain frais. Seul petit bémol porte coulissante pas complètement occultante. Très bon adresse situé à quelques secondes de la gare. Rooms: Spacieuse et moderne. Literie de haute qualité.
Good hotel with small parking in front. We had dinner at the other location which is just across the train track. Dinner was good but little expensive but this is Switzerland). Hotel has clean rooms and a bar with finger food). Staff is extremely friendly. Do not forget to bring your AC adapter for Switzerland.. Service: 5
