Wow talk about bringing back childhood memories, these are the most authentic empanadas I have ever found in the United States, I lived 3 years in Judibana, Venezuela ?? as a kid when I was young from 1979-1981 and attended Escuela Simon Bolivar. My dad was an engineer and worked for Flour at the Exxon Refinery, we used to go and buy a bunch of empanadas for $5 bolivars and then buy frescolitas which was there sodas. The people saying that this food is not authentic have obviously never eaten true authentic Venezuelan cuisine, I can say this place is a must try if you want real authentic empanadas and Venezuelan cuisine. This brought back great memories.

Meh- Look, the empanadas are good. The crust is fluffy but a bit greasy. I’m not from Venezuela, so I don’t know if it’s authentic or not. My beef with this place is that it is way too expensive. One empanada and a can of coke for $12?I also have an issue with the hostess not being able to speak very good English. I don’t have problems with people’s cultures, I just believe that if you are going to run a viable restaurant in our community, you should probably speak the language so you can communicate with your customers.

We need this place to be cheaper since the quality it's not the greatest and it always taste different now... It used to be super good and I went today and was disappointed once again, the salsa was good but not today... it was mayonesa with cilantro and the other one was just mayonesa with red coloring or something and it tasted like it was the same sauce and not to mentioned but it was $30 for 2 empanadas and one doesn't fill you up.

I got empanadas and arepas for me and a friend to share, as well as an order of sopapillas. Everything was absolutely delicious and super filling. When I came in to pick up the food, the lady that helped me was helpful and friendly. Have been craving ever since!Parking: difficult when events are the oriental theater (right next door) are going on. have to park in surrounding neighborhood Book a table now

I visited this restaurant for lunch and tried one empanada. Even though I only had one, it was quite filling for me. I opted for the chicken salad with avocado empanada, which was delicious. The dish came with two tasty sauces. The restaurant is small, but also has outside seating and convenient street parking.

This restaurant is a small local spot with a humble appearance, and ordering can be challenging if you don't speak Spanish (which I do not). However, the empanadas were absolutely delicious and the best I have ever tried. Overall, I would give the food a 5/5 rating.

Staff was very friendly. We tried the taste of Venezuela plate which was more than enough for two people. Prices were reasonable; especially nowadays. Will be back again when we're in the area. They had vegetarian options as well.Food: 5/5
