Empress Of India - Table reservation

Great curry house, reasonably priced, worth a visit. Chicken Pakora starter is my favourite but all the starters are winners to be fair. I'm old school so a Madras main for me with pilao rice, Bombay Aloo and a Peshwari Naan. There's always plenty of gravy in the Madras so perfect for dipping your Naan bread. I'm a big fan of Paratha's but I find their offering too thick and doughy, not thin and flaky as it should be. The chef's recommendations on the menu are always a safe choice, the Balti Murg Massalla is mild but very tasty. Lamb Bombay with an egg and potato is another winner that's mild and tasty.

amazing eating and service. a culinary joy. one of the best Indian restaurants in london. never to meet at the place. the menu is diverse and very authentic. the price is worth for money and definitiw a visit for all curry lovers! they also offer an excellent takeaway service for the days in which they only want to stay. would give them 6 stars if I could.

have some excellent reviews on local Indian restaurants and it is lockdown, so what better time to pay back, hey? lol. great food and service. it is also cheap for london standards. I suppose Indian food in london is highly reliable from all means of life. the parts were large and very well made.

My Wife and I have been using this restaurant for the last 15 years l can remember when this it was a takeaway when it first opened. The food wine and service is great. Have been to other Indian restaurants in the area but this is the best and the only one were you get 6 dips with your poppadoms.
