I picked this place cause of the better reviews it had over another local restaurant. I ordered take out and the customer service over the phone was super prompt and friendly! I ordered their vegetarian orange chicken, but I’m highly disappointed. I’m giving 2 stars to be generous. This was the absolute most flavorless thing I’ve ever eaten, especially in the Asian cuisine. The sauce was watery and had no orange flavor at all. Which is crazy cause it looked like it had so much flavor to it. I had to drown the food in soy sauce to actually have flavor. I took my two young daughters to this restaurant and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They even gave my restless baby a bliss cookie and children's chopsticks. The salmon bento box and chow mein were delicious. I overheard the manager taking a pickup order over the phone and I was impressed by how he remembered all the regular favorites like sushi and gluten-free soy sauce. It may be a small, unassuming place, but the food and service definitely deserve 5 stars.
I recommend this bistro if you are in the mood for casual food. Mix of Chinese and Japanese food and great sushi together with friendly staff, makes this place the favorite place of my family to take out. It is comfortable in Potomac village. As busy as they are, I am surprised that they have not yet expanded. I still need to find out how to open their Ramune beverage bottle. This is my only complaint. I love this place
Decided to stop here for food out of curiosity. The place was mostly deserted with only a few cars in the lot. When we entered the place, it looked super clean, and staff attended to us efficiently. It was not a super busy hour so we got a booth and got food that tasted great. Lots of nice decorations but the music and tv was not relaxing for me.

Has this restaurant changed owners? We had our usual order of nigiri sushi a few weeks ago and it didn't seem to be of the same level of quality/freshness as we always knew. We also noticed that the website and method of online ordering changed and prices went up. Very disappointing.
What an exceptional treat this was. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was gorgeous. We spoke with the owner and were stunned by his stellar positivity and charm. I'm grateful to have shared the experience and will absolutely be going back.

I guess there’s only one waiter. He might be quite busy, but he’s still patient and nice. The food was neither too salty nor too oily.
