since my last assessment we were in the kohweed restaurant two more times. from time to time both the service and the food became worse. Apparently, you just want to serve a funeral coffee here. unfriendly reception, service inattentively, ordering 2 x incorrectly delivered, special requests unconsidered, the rumpsteak was of poor quality, tough, looked like murdered, but not fried and was completely returned, apologise misdisplay, the espresso is underground. we are no longer going to the kohweed.
in the frame of a birthday dinner we were on an adventssonntag "en de kohweed". the dishes, including rumpsteak with pommes frites, gänsekeule and pork fillet, were served after appropriate waiting period. there was a suppe of the house for everyone. the foods were all tasty, the steak as ordered medium fried and tender, the portions more than sufficient. who likes unscrupulous, properly prepared petty-bourgeois cuisine, is here perfectly eliminated.
in the kohweed you will meet for a family celebration, for a funeral coffee and for eating in a friendly or big circle. eating is usually in order, the service sometimes a little slow. when you come without registration, you can also stand in front of closed doors without knowing if only today or longer is closed. in the summer little beer garden on the road. But you can thirsty here if you don't get inside.
we were there for family dinner. the food was very good (scarving, rumpsteak), the service was very friendly and courteous, only for the drinks we had to wait quite long.
