I usually don’t write reviews unless it is necessary. I am writing this review so that people are aware. I made a reservation at Encore Teppan everything was well. We were seated in the bar table because they didn’t have enough space at the grill. once they sat at the grill, we waited, probably for like 30 minutes before the chef arrived. they took our orders and everything was going well. The chef did take pretty long because he was new and that was understandable. I then told the waitress that I wanted to add another order to go. The waitress told me I will add it and that the chef could cook it and then you could just put it in a to go box. when the chef was cooking the food, I did tell h...
Eventually, the host informed us that he would seat us but that it would take 20 to 30 minutes for the chef to be available. We could enjoy drinks and appetizers in the meantime, which I was fine with. A waitress took our drink orders and then returned to offer us the option to move to a different table for quicker service or wait where we were. I checked with my wife and daughter, and they decided they were okay with waiting.
However, the waitress later came back and said it would actually be an hour before the chef could attend to us. My wife questioned why the wait time had increased from 20 to 30 minutes to an hour. By this point, I felt unwelcome, so we decided to leave.

Tired this place for the first time and it was awesome. From the hostess to our chef, everyone was very sweet and warm and the food was amazing. This was the first time my kids tired Japanese Tappan and the loved it.
Great experience, the kids enjoyed the show. The chef did a good job at cooking our meal, all cooked very well. He was new, we could tell, but he tried really hard and was very accommodating and friendly.
