The restaurant has the information wrong on Google. Call before going to the restaurant. We arrived at 4:40 pm and the kitchen was closed. We have to wait until 5:15 pm they opened it again. We ate Italian food today. María is a lovely lady who is 89 years old with an amazing actitud. She is an amazing woman. She remains me, my husband's Nonna. The food is good, nothing outstanding. Homemade food. You feel you are eating on your grandma's home on sunday !! The guy behind the bar is not very friendly. We asked him for two glasses of prosseco, and he never offered us a bottle of 39. Instead, we paid for 4 glasses 52. But besides that, he was grumpy. Good experience, but we won't return it. The...

It was the place I wanted to do in New York because I basically loved to taste the cuisine of several specialties from around the world made by grannies. For us, that evening it was Peru and Japan (I admit that I would have preferred something other than Japanese cuisine that you find on every street corner). We decided to choose Peru and overall we were delighted because we ate. It's hearty and fresh. The service is perfect and pleasant. One of the grannies came to see us to ask about our opinion, it was pretty cool. I just regret the decoration. I admit that I would have had the idea to decorate this place with kitchen utensils, spices, cooking recipes from around the world to be in the th...
If you are ever in Staten Island and feeling hungry you could do no better than to stop at Enoteca Maria. It’s a 5-10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. We had one of the best lasagna’s (red) I’ve ever had. And, it was big enough to share. It was a beautiful mound of pasta and sauce that had many wonderful flavors racing through my mouth. We paired that with a Bellini and a Prosecco for an unexpected culinary treat. And, we had the great pleasure of meeting Maria herself. A Nonna from Naples. She was so welcoming and friendly we felt like we were regulars. It also has a tagline saying the “World of Nonnas”. So, on the menu we’re dishes from India, Puerto Rico and perhaps another regions wh...
We heard so much about this restaurant for years and looked forward to going. Two of us ordered classic lasagna. Too spicy couldnt finish it. When we were told there was outdoor seating, we didnt expect a shed on the sidewalk with no windows, ice cream round tables and a fan that couldnt cool one person much less 6 people. Tge waitress was nice, the appetizers and dessert good. But I wont go back. Only one of us enjoyed his meal..a pork dish. Disappointing. Book a table now
I felt like I was in someone's home, the food was so home y, and our server Paola felt like one of our aunts keeping us cozy at home such a unique and amazing experience, and the food was top notch! I wish I took pictures but we ate it so fast! We had the Argentinian steak dinner and the Japanese Bento box (vegan) I wouldn't trade this experience for anything, made me miss my grandma Highly recommend Cash or Venmo only !
Very good food, friendly, professional service, eclectic, whimsical decor. As with much of Staten Island, it's up a steeply pitched street, making it a bit of a chore for seniors to reach without a car. Our party of four, all experienced eaters, left happy, satisfied, and eager to return (via Uber). Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
A small restaurant on Staten Island. Moms from different nations cook food there. We had Maria's lasagne. Very tasty . We made reservations in advance. This is highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

"Amazing NYC-style pizza! The best part is that it truly tastes great. Unlike some places that prepare their pizzas in advance resulting in greasiness, Pizza And makes each pizza to order. Plus, it’s very affordable! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We visited this restaurant for drinks and had a great time. The view was amazing, and we loved the cocktails. While it wasn't cheap, I believe it was worth it. This rooftop bar is the best one I've been to in NYC."
