Entre Serras - Table reservation

We visited this place at about 6.30pm on a Sunday evening. I don't think Sundays are a traditional night to eat out in Portugal and of course it was early for their standards! We were the only people there for food. We asked if we could have dinner and the waitress offered a meal, we didn't quite understand what it was but were totally happy to get what we were given. We had no menu to decide but this made it fun to us. The man who greeted us was a lovely guy and very friendly, he seated us and gave us olives, goats cheese (to die for! and bread. Quero aqui pedir as minhas desculpas pela colocação de uma estrela neste restaurante, que se deveu a um erro de avaliação. Necessito de contar todo o contexto. Entrei neste restaurante por um mero acaso, pois tinha reunião numa localidade ali próxima e precisava de almoçar muito rapidamente, o restaurante estava cheio e essa exigência foi satisfeita. O que comemos estava muito delicioso. O serviço foi simpático e diligente. Não tive o tempo e a contemplação necessária que acho que este restaurante pode merecer para o avaliar conveniente. Proponho que vão, experimentem e digam se vale ou não a pena comer no Entre Serras. Do que apreciei acho que vale a pena!

Very nice place with typical Portuguese homemade regional family style food to enjoy. The village is a bit off the beaten track and still needs to be discovered, but locals sure where to find this nice restaurant. We were truly delighted with the courteous and super friendly reception of the owners. They even speak some English! After some fresh cheeses and olives, we enjoyed a nice spinach soup and a very delightful seasoned stewed beef. We paired the menu with a nice red Alentejo wine, and finished with home made desert and coffee with liquor. The price was very low for the quality of the food served! Highly recommended! We have already booked again!

Unpleasant experience ... My bad luck ... Glazed cuttlefish ... unpalatable, fruit salad: mixture of preserves with fresh fruit. Even after my complaint I didn 't get any answer ... Until one day (Original) Desagradável experiência... Azar o meu... Choco vidrado ... intragável,salada de frutas : mistura de conserva com fruta fresca. we had a very nice lunch and decided to come back to dinner. we really enjoyed this restaurant and organized our company bbq on the terrace. it was all very good to watch. the grill was both meat and fish excellent. we also had delicious pastis de nata com salmão. it is an easy-going family restaurant with caffe and beautiful esplanada on the back.
