The waiters were very helpful in finding us (party of 4) a table, chatty and quite funny. However, it all went down hill after that. The food turned up very quickly; one dish was wrong so we had to wait, thus negating the quick food arrival. The salad my wife ordered was full of green tomatoes- very strange in an area ubiquitous of delicious fruit and vegetables. The two pizzas were what I would describe as small squares of pastry with pizza topping...and slightly burnt. Not the usual round plate filling pizzas you find in most other restaurants in the area. My pizza was meant to have prawns and anchovies. However, the prawns were substituted for squid. Finally the spaghetti carbonara was a...

This is one of those spots that should be kept in secret. The location, in of the most beautiful and cozy mediterranean, gathers all the conditions to make you feel like this the place where you have always wanted to be. If you are into fish do not hesitate to order squid and sardines. The meat is excellent too. But if you want to try the paella it won't disappoint you. Do not forget to have a good wine. Finally, it was the staff that made the experience unforgettable. They were extremely kind. Thank you José, Manel and Patri for your kindness and attention. We will be back as soon as we can!!!

Not sure why the reviews have been so mixed. We loved this unfussy restaurant by the sea in Sa Tuna. The service was great, prompt and charming even though we had no reservation, and was particularly good in comparison with the snootiness of the staff in the restaurants closer to the sea! Would strongly recommend for a family meal.

We chose Es Catius because it was tucked away a little, more sheltered and the busiest. Very accomodating, great fresh food, the Calamari was cooked excellent. The calamari and mussell dishes looked to be popular. Good value 30euro for a two dishes, frites and two wines. Clean tidy restrooms. Would recommend! Book a table now

Our first and only meal in Sa Tuna was here and we dined mainly on fish dishes including mussels and the seafood mixed grill all of which were adequate but not particularly exciting. The bread was awful.Beers hit the spot and it was pleasant to sit amidst the clamour and bustle of a busy Spanish seaside cafe.

We enjoyed a simple evening meal in this wonderful location. Nothing remarkable it's true but it hit the spot nonetheless a couple of cold beers, a thin crust cheese pizza, steamed mussels and fries served by a very helpful and friendly waiter.

After enjoing the overcrowded beach of Sa Tuna we had some bravas in this place. They were good cause we like them crispy. Sauce was not too bad either. Service was good as well.
