I’m genuinely puzzled by how this restaurant continues to operate, especially with Kati just across the street. I ordered delivery via Postmates, and the food was incredibly bland—it needed copious amounts of soy sauce, chili, and MSG just to be palatable. I've never come across a Thai curry that was so devoid of flavor. To top it off, I discovered a marble-sized rock at the bottom of my Pad Woosen. I get that small pebbles can sometimes end up in rice, but this was a substantial piece. How did it even make it there?
I had a fantastic experience at Pad 60. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced—not too sweet or greasy like I’ve encountered at other places. It had an excellent flavor and was very refreshing on the palate. On the other hand, I wasn’t as impressed with the A16 Khao Thom. It wasn’t the congee I expected; it felt more like rice in soup. While it tasted fine, it didn’t leave a lasting impression.
The staff was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. My family felt out of place and unwelcome during our visit. I cannot recommend this restaurant to any friends or family looking for a nice time together. The attitudes displayed towards our Hispanic community were very troubling. We have no intention of returning to such a hostile and toxic environment.
They do an excellent job! If I had to point out one issue, it would be that the heat level isn't consistent. I think this is because some customers order dishes that may be too spicy for them. Book a table now
This is my second visit to this restaurant. The ambiance is pleasant and the place is tidy, with excellent hospitality. However, I found that all the dishes I tried were lacking in flavor.
The food here is bursting with flavor, and everything is perfectly cooked. I tried the beef drunken noodles, and it was so delicious that I couldn’t get enough!
While it may sound vague, the management seems to be relying too heavily on offering free samples instead of focusing on running the business effectively.
If you ever have a less-than-stellar experience here, it must be an unusually rare occasion— I keep coming back because it’s always fantastic. Book a table now
