A must see: for the oldies a reminder of the past for the youngest a little history lesson with a fun course which will make them abandon their console, telephone and others for a few hours. You can have lunch there. “Benches” are installed everywhere which allows you to rest a little or admire the environment. There are also estaminets which allow you to quench your thirst or have a snack . And of course you will find the souvenir store there with some regional products I recommend

We spent about three hours in this museum village and felt like traveling back in time. It was nice to see lots of scenes representing people at work, school, bar or church. Great to bring children they have lots of things to discover. Dinner can be served but only on reservation. Souvenirs shop also available. Worth a visit if you are in Calais area and you want something different. Enjoyed!

We spent a really lovely day here. So many things to see the photos do not do it justice. A fascinating glimpse into a bygone era. The exhibits have been lovingly assembled and the work put into creating this museum is stunning to see. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Great day with 2 of our grandchildren, 4 and 10 years old, in this charming village. Little treasure hunt that interested the grown-up. Everything is clean and perfectly reconstituted. The staff is very welcoming. We ate at the restaurant for lunch, it was very good. Book a table now

Lovely reconstruction of french history and culture over the past century and a bit more. It gave me insight into a part of french history I had not thought about before. You need to be able to read french to read the information on the signs though.

Interesting for the oldest. There are also riddles for children. Congratulations on welcoming people with reduced mobility (parking benches throughout the course).
