Came here for the first time this afternoon for breakfast/brunch with my sister (who highly recommended this place! . It was a very cute and chill place with a relaxing vibe. I was immediately greeted upon arrival and we were seated immediately, no wait. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were amazing and super flavored; the lemon butter that comes on them is rich and delicious and yet the lemon didn’t overpower the butter, it was perfect!! My sister got the brioche French toast and she enjoyed it as well(it’s honestly the dish that had her coming back to Estime’s . You get this delicious jam on the side that goes super well with the griddle breakfast entrees, I found myself even taking...
We found another gem when searching for a black owned breakfast restaurant. Estime's did not disappoint either of us. After reading the reviews we HAD TO try the Amaretto French Toast and this was definitely the best decision. It was absolutely delicious. No syrup needed, it was perfect and the serving amount was perfect. Both the pork as well as turkey bacon were cooked crispy as we requested. The grits (with cheese) was also pretty good. I hope I have enough time to return while in NJ so that I can try the shrimp n grits! The atmosphere was cozy. The service (Amiya) was excellent. She was very sweet and accommodating. We will definitely return when in NJ.
this restaurant is exceptional. eating is extraordinary, the personal is amazing, and I felt like I was transported to a tropical holiday while I eat breakfast! we tried to garnel and grits, laughs and grotten and their incredible French toast. the shrimps and grits were the best I ever had and I had this dish all over the country. everyone was very excited with his eating, as this was our first visit, and we will definitely be many times again and will be thrilled to bring friends.
The French Toast is my favorite! They prepare their own fruit sauce to accompany it, adding a lovely, sweet touch that enhances the French toast beautifully—no need for much syrup. The Shrimp and Grits are also a must-try. The homemade steak sauce is absolutely delicious, with just a hint of spice! Be sure to ask the owner if you can take something home; he genuinely wants you to be happy. His team is really attentive as well. I will definitely be coming back!

Estime's Cafe is a fantastic spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. They offer generous coffee servings and a diverse menu filled with healthy options. The food is fresh and expertly prepared. During our visit, we received exceptional service. Please note that there are only a few limited free parking spaces available. The cafe tends to be quite busy on weekends, and a service fee of 3.5% applies to credit card payments.
the French toast is my fave! they make their own fruit sauce / spread for them that give a beautiful, sweet supplement of the French toast. they don't need much sirup. shrimp and grits is also a must. the homemade sauce for her steak is delicious; oh and it has a little kick! ask the owner to take something for her home. the owner wants to be happy and his team is very attentive. will be back.
This is definitely a hidden gem. First time there didn’t expect the food to be as good as it was. I ordered the NY strip and eggs and man….. I felt the love of food in that dish. Steak was seasoned and good to perfection. It will be my new breakfast spot. I love supporting small business especially family oriented ones like this.
From the outside looking in I didn't expect the food to be as good as it was or for the live DJ set-up. The music was very upbeat and lively a great way to start your Saturday mornings. We also had great service, definitely worth the tip. (Please remember to tip)

What a fantastic hidden gem for brunch! They serve some of the best shrimp and grits you'll ever taste. The flavors crafted by the Haitian chef transport you straight to the islands. The food is unbelievably good, no matter what you choose to order.
This place has such a cute homey vibe. Reminds me of my trips to NOLA. The food is amazing. The shrimp grits and French toast are my faves. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend
