TLDR the place has gone downhill since new ownership came a few months ago. The experience here at Leominster fish bar has fallen since the new owners came in. Even though they do not make halloumi anymore, it's still on the menu. The onion rings have no onion in them and are no longer hand-made. The chips are still fine, but the fish batter was over-salted. The food is now extremely mediocre overall. Surprisingly, they sell Chip Shop Non-brewed condiment (fake vinegar) for only £1.70.
Unfortunately this chippy has gone steeply downhill under new ownership. Ordered large cod and chips. Very little precooked in the warmer so was pleased it would be fresh, however in a couple of mins it was ready and wrapped. On unwrapping at home chips we're under cooked and the cod had been wrapped separately in a greaseproof sheet. When I removed this most of the batter came off with it. For over £11 I was left with innedible chips and naked, greasy fish. I won't be going back.
WOW. What can I say except absolutely delicious food! We had large kebab with pitta and a XL kebab pitta all served with salad and we had chips.. portion size was fantastic we could have shared it lol. The lady owner and staff very very friendly great atmosphere super clean and spacious with bar stools to sit at xx we came back the very next day haha couldn’t resist, see you again very soon… Lisa Craig

Great food but remember to take cash as it's cash only but there is an ATM just up the ally.
Fish cooked to order was brilliant friendly staff while I waited too.
Banging chippy , same family as the square, can't got wrong!!!!!!
