Visited at lunchtime and had the plat du jour at 11 euros for either a starter and main course or a main course and a sweet. We plumbed for the starter and main course which was lemon chicken. The experiece was terrific, the restaurant was full at the end of our meal we started at 12;15hrs. Locals use the establishment a lot by the look of it which shows the quality of the food and service. Staff we very helpful as our French minimal. Great place to eat take no notice of the bad reports (only one on this site) it is a good restaurant with good quality food.
We went with four adults, four teenagers for lunch. The starters (vapeurs dumplings) and 'assortiment ' (including crystal rolls) were so delicious and fresh tasting. The mains were also beautifully flavoured. Best of all, the host was the most charming gentleman, attentive and helpful. There were some beautiful paintings on silk for sale too, and one has made it back as a lovely memento of our holiday and delicious meal.
Really liked this meal from first to last bite. We were a little early for a Saturday and the restaurant was empty and yet within 20 minutes it was the best part of full. The waiter was something of a character with a cheeky sense of humour and that coupled with the slightly different menu to what you might expect in the UK, all added to the occasion. Happy to recommend.
Cozy restaurant near the cathedral with Vietnamese food. Small and quiet on weekdays. Tasty dishes, gentle attention but little bit pricey.
