The food and the service were amazing, but I was extremely disappointed to see the bill at the end.They charged us 25 EUR for 2 glasses of wine (9 EUR each) and for a 1L bottle of still water (7 EUR), which is ridiculous taking into account that we drunk a 'very normal' white wine and the still water wasn't clearly coming from a hidden fountain located in the Himalayas.Clearly, they were trying to make up for the considerable discount that they were offering through the Groupon voucher, which is a shame, because that showed a total lack of respect towards their customers that way. What to write after all the other superlatives from other reviewers. The hospitality experience is as brilliant as the food and the family atmosphere and friendliness of the team is difficult to better. So informal on one hand and totally professional on the other. The ambience, decor and spaced out tables are cleverly done to give an authentic Italian experience. The food, potato soup, baby calamari and fettuccini with wild mushrooms, all superb, and finished off with an outstanding lemon sorbet. The concierge at our hotel that recommended Etrusca was so confident when he packed us off, he said he would pay for our dinner if we didn't enjoy it! Located in a very lively area of Koln, Etusca was recommend by a foodie colleague - I was not disappointed!With a party of 5, every dish was outstanding and you will be short changing yourself not to have a starter (dreamy carpaccio), a pasta dish (Truffle linguine) plus a fish/meat (Veal Chop outstanding. Room for a pudding. Of course. (Suitably wobbly Panacotta).If it's hot, get a table outside or by the window (there's no a/c) - but food-wise, you won't be disappointed to make the 10 minute cab ride outside of the centre.

All waiters speak Italian, people are nice and friendly. Good wines and food. One of the most famous option is the pasta with truffle, which they prepare inside a Parmigiano cheese right next the table. I strongly recommend going by taxi or by Bahn since it is very difficult to park and you can easily find many options of Bahn stations. Book a table now

The best italian food I have ever tasted! This restaurant is colognes best secret. Whenever I go there I will visit Etrusca. The only down fall is parking around the area. There is parking but expensive and the multi-storey is a bit difficult to find if you don't know the area. To be honest, it's so worth the hassle.

I was here for a week in Cologne, I came for dinner 5 nights! The food is the best, a real Italian family restaurant.Try the white truffle pasta, it is just magic you become addicted . The service is wonderful and the atmosphere cosy. Grazie!

This was a nice experience on a very hot (35 degrees C) Sunday in connection with SPOGA 2015. Nice place with atmosphere. Food was great to our Italian friends appreciation. Recommend the carpaccio.

Family run, excellent service and great food! Be sure and try the homemade pasta that is mixed in the parmesan cheese bowl table side. I have never tasted anything quite like it. Book a table now

Poor food with the addition of the owners grandchildren running amok. No respect for the customer and I wonder why the concierge recommended this ?
