"The food was simple. Period. The goat bar had taste. The rice had no taste AT ALL. And neither the cabbage. And the woman who took our orders had an attitude. I've always heard that Jamaican food was amazing. It wasn't amazing. And I never go back."

Eva?s Jamaican cuisine introduces both new and familiar flavors in a sequence of classic and most delicious Jamaica Curry Chicken. The meat was so delicate that it literally fell from the bone with a taste that ignites a stickiness in tastes that? ll you want to go back and enjoy Eva?s house boiled and authentic meals. The large plate did well to make a portion for two when a light dinner is to be desired for your meal. The dish was served with cabbage and yellow rice, which brought all the flavors together to create a perfect dish for two. Don't forget to try the beef to start the night. You won't regret it!

I used to think that Spices restaurant had the best Jamaican food in Jacksonville, Florida. I?ve been giving them business for over 10 years. I have to share this with everyone?EVA?S is by far the best Jamaican food I?ve ever had. Period. I have a LOT of Jamaican friends who?s food I?ve tried and I cook Jamaican food ALL THE TIME. Eva?s is THE BEST! You will not be disappointed at all. I ordered yesterday and ordered again today! Definitely a must try! I will not order from anyone else moving forward. They are my go to moving forward. Thank you for providing delicious CLEAN and FRESH food!

When I came in, it wasn't inviting. We use to go to her when it was from the beach blvd on the south side and it was amazing. A few years later we saw that she moved from San Pablo and the rice is like Ben's rice, my pig was very hard and dry with more bones than meat, and my cabbage was not cooked enough. I didn't know the idiot was orange now. I know her sign clearly says no refunds, but what happens when this happens. I don't want anything free. I just want a good meal like before. very expensive, not like one thing on my plate.

Okay, that's my honest opinion about what I ordered. Rice and peas were dry. The cabbage was very good. The atmosphere was very loud by the ladies behind the counter. Me and the man were controversial. I just looked up and one of the ladies listened to us so hard that when I looked up, we closed our eyes. Crazy.
