Contrary to EU law, the owner and locals feel free to smoke in the restaurant. The place used to be affordable and friendly. It now is run by the same owners who have allowed their business to go to seed. The last straw for us was when they put washing up liquid in the toilet for hand wash- how do we know you may ask? Because they couldn't be bothered to change the bottle!
On Easter Mon in France you are hardly spoiled for choice on the restaurant front so we were delighted to see this place was open. There was a wide selection of pizzas cooked to order and a few other of the usual choices. The pizzas had plenty of topping and were washed down well with the local wine. The pool table was also welcome entertainment for the whole family.
They have a new chef...have been three times in the last couple of months..not been disappointed at all. Lovely steak dinner last night, decent house wine,generous cheese course, and chef came over to make sure we were happy. Reasonably priced too. So, Thumbs UP from us.
Just not a fan of Karaoke and self service, especially in a place that has waitstaff. As I write, the pizza was pretty good, the wine was cold but the "music" was really loud and non stop. Might have another try some other time but this was a disaster. Book a table now
Good pizzas and lunch time specials are good value . Looking a bit dowdy but an established local that has its own raffish air and has excellent WiFi . Do not expect fine dining ,servile service or the indoor screens to be turned off
We sit outside enjoying the sun for dinner with glass of wine 19:30 nice Viber. A wonderful salad, a delicious steak with mushroom sauce. The table service very attentive, whenever I am in the area I stop by.
Sadly not as good as it used to be. It is now under new management. The service is slower, the owner does not engage and the food is not as good a it used to be. A great pity.
