at the beginning, the customer service here is top notch. the ladies who worked during the lunch hour were all great. we had our first red flag when we told our server that this was our first visit and their answer was: "oh, they had made a reservation and came to dinner instead." a bit strange reaction, but turned out that she was probably right. the building itself is located in the inner city and has a lot of character. we all asked for lunch specials and the served very suggested a pizza that comes up with makkaroni. there were several for dinner in this restaurant. was in the city and heard of his call. They didn't know they were closed on Mondays and had to come back on Tuesday. the staff was very polite and helpful and the atmosphere is interesting. The orchard chicken and burning chicken were fantastic. The pork chop, on the other hand, had some serious issues. I've seen sawdust with more moisture than that pork chop had. Garlic potatoes were very salty. Sangria was mixed with Sprite, which I thought to be an odd choice, but to each their own.Service was great until our food came out. We were asked how the meal was or if we needed anything else. The server did show the dry pork chop to the manager, but that was the end of it.
Hello from Mobile, AL! This place is so cute! It reminds me of Delphina's in Mobile. The food is excellent. I had the Hungarian Mushroom soup and it was like warm, smooth comfort going into my belly. I need that recipe. Great service and atmosphere.
