For the second evening in Lübeck, I had already reserved a table in the catch. Already in my research on the net, this restaurant came into question and was decisive then NoTeaForMe's recommendation: In my opinion, the best fish for me is being prepared in a “fresh”. And to say it in advance: That's exactly how it was, catching fresh is really a good catch for Lübeck and his guests! In the afternoon, we had a look outside. Die Qualität ist seit dem Umbau so brutal eingebrochen, dass wir nicht wieder kommen werden. Die Bedienung sind eine Laienspielgruppe was aber nicht mehr zu den deutlich zu hohen Preisen passt. Wir hatten Fish Chips: wabbelige Chips, wabbelige Panade und eine angeblich selbstgemachte Remoulade, die nach absolut Nichts schmeckte. Unsere Freunde teilten sich eine Brotplatte und auch hier war die Enttäuschung riesig. Wie kann man in einem Fischrestaurant gekochten Brokkloli auf Schwarzbrot servieren? Wenn da wenigstens eine Sauce gewesen wäre. Nee, nie wieder!!
We were with a friendly couple with you for the evening. The staff was super nice. We felt very comfortable. The sustainable and regional concept is top priority. Sure, prices are a little higher but everything has its price. Only the menu selection is too small. If I want to come more often and the card doesn't change monthly, I don't know what to eat anymore. I also find two desserts too little.
Ich war Ende November mit meiner Frau zum Abendessen im Fangfrisch. Wir aßen vorweg das rote Bete Carpaccio. Als Hauptgang den Kabeljau und das Zanderfilet. Der Fisch war auf den Punkt gegart und die Speisen wurden sehr schön angerichtet. Des Restaurant bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre und das Personal wirkte sehr kompetent und Gastfreundlich. Es war ein schöner Abend und wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Food is overpriced and the fish is not fresh. Commercial smoker fish as 30 Euro main course is unacceptable. Wine also overpriced and lower quality for 12 Euro/0.2 L. Dessert sweet and tasteless uninteresting. I really expected more for good 50 euros per person.

Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Leider war mein bestellter Backfisch nicht zum Genießen. Er war völlig zu einer breiigen Masse zerfallen.
