We visited today while visiting family in Melksham. It was very busy but the staff moved the line very quickly. We ordered the burger which my husband said was the best burger he had ever had. My sister and I had a full English breakfast...which was cooked to perfection and my parents had the fish and chips. We all had empty plates which is amazing as I've never seen my mother demolish a plate of food so quickly. We decided we would have a slice of cake as the selection looked amazing with plenty of choice of gluten free for people with a gluten allergy. So thank you to the staff of farmers fayre for making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely return on our next visit to melksham.

A regular customer to Farmers Fayre for obvious reasons! I could never get bored of the food, because there’s such a wide selection and it always tastes phenomenal! Although it gets busy at times, the team keep their heads screwed on and get the food...served hot and in good time. Special thanks to Tamara, Ali and Liz who’ve always got a smile on ready to have a good laugh. It’s the family atmosphere that really makes you feel at home and keeps me coming back. Couldn’t fault it even if I wanted to!!
I ordered the Farmers Breakfast, while my wife had the double egg, ham, and chips. I was still hungry, so I asked for an extra sausage, egg, and slice of toast. With the additional items, my bill increased significantly. For just one egg, sausage, and a slice of white toast, I was charged a ridiculous amount. It was unacceptable how expensive it was. My wife had to leave the ham on her dish as it was tough and dry, making it inedible. Despite these disappointments, the coffee was good.
We ordered faggot, chips and peas. First impression when it came to the table was fancy serving it on a sandwich plate A narrow oblong plate, very small. The food looked delicious but the faggot was cold and the chips were very dry and floury....The cafe is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly. Not impressed with the food, sorry. Won't be eating here again. Book a table now
I cannot review the food as after queuing for to minutes to order a hot lunch we were verbally informed they had stopped serving hot food, there was an A board at the start of the cafe area, how difficult would it have...been to state this fact with a note placed on the board. We might try again another time but certainly before on a Saturday.
Popped in with my sister yesterday for tea and cake. We had a cherry shortbread slice and a millionaire shortbread. Both were awful. Obviously no butter used in the shortbread but cheap margarine; dry and tasteless. Terrible cheap cooking chocolate on top too. Very disappointed...with the quality of ingredients used.
For the past few months, my friends and I have been meeting regularly at this restaurant. The staff, a lovely group of ladies, always make my experience enjoyable by bringing my order to the table. I highly recommend trying their homemade pudding, as it is absolutely amazing.
I visited and was instantly made comfortable by the staff. I have a tasty toasty and my partner had a “delicious” veggie breakfast. Great value for money. Would definitely try again. Book a table now
We visited the restaurant again to take advantage of our loyalty cards and enjoy the special discounted breakfast. It was great value for money and delicious.
