On the takeout side, when the manager is working, this is the best pizza you'll have. When she's not working, its still good but not great. The wings are good, and calzones are excellent. When ordering, make sure you try their "Cat Tails", which are deep fried dough, with a caramel sauce and confectioner sugar. It's amazing. The slice and pop deal for $3.99 is always great. The takeout side staff is always friendly.The bar / restaurant side is another story, and its hard to give an overall rating because of that. My wife and I have tried going in with the kids on 3 separate occasions, and were ignored. The bartender / waitress didn't take our order, and each time we got up and left to go els...
I try other pizza places and I keep coming back. These guys get it right. Thin crust with just the right amount of pull/chew. High quality and generous toppings. Price beats almost all competition in town, and for the quality, Fat Cats comes out on top in my experience. Their wing size is perfect, sauces are phenomenal. The hot sauce is that authentic 'buffalo' style, and their blue cheese is that great zingy kind. They have a great garlic dip too. Delivery is ALWAYS fast, and usually gets to my place in roughly 30-40 minutes. I live about 3km away. I've eaten in the restaurant too. Atmosphere is a little dive-bar, but that's just right for my tastes. I wish they were in my neighbourhood so...
I've eaten here a few times but only from their take-out menu as it is next to my apartment. The times that I've been there I've not been pleased with the food. Most of the menu is considered to be 'Italian'..but it was either undercooked or too greasy and chewy. I ordered pasta with Bolognese sauce but when I got home the sauce had so much cheese already in it which I didn't order. Being lactose intolerant I had to go back and get another order. I'm Italian and sauce is never served with cheese in it, the customer puts their own condiments.
We went there several times cause it is close by and the food was very good every time but the service is horrible and it's a joke and deserves no rating at all, The wait staff/ bartenders suck, They would rather be outside smoking then looking after their customers, You have to wait way to long for everything you order!I found a much better place and I'll never step foot in that place again so the owner can shove it where the sun doesn't shine! We attended our great-nephews Birthday and our niece ordered a tray of pizza as part of the dinner buffet. The pizza was the worst we have ever had. It was ordered with double cheese and there was barely a trace. It lacked any type of flavour and must be made with the cheapest canned sauce that you can buy. We will definitely stay clear of this place for pizza.
I was driving through the Secord Woods area of St. Catharines, and "happened upon" *FAT CATS PIZZA* on Rockwood Avenue. The gal that served me was fantastic. I felt welcomed as soon as I stepped through the door. They have so much to choose from, and great specials too. Two thumbs up guys and gals!!
We have take out or eat in from Fat Cats pretty much every week. My latest favourites include the shrimp basket, bruchetta, seafood pasta and the (very tasty) Hello Kitty cocktail. Staff are friendly and always ready with a smile. And trivia night on Tuesday's is always fun.
We order from Fat Cats occasionally and it is generally quite good. The pizza does vary a bit but we are never unhappy. The white pizza is very tasty. It is worth a try if you are close to Merritton. Book a table now
